• *About The Role**

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Fullstack Java Developer (m/w/d) with a focus on Java EE to join our Application Development department. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing applications within an agile framework, primarily supporting our Komposit insurance solutions. You will work closely with product owners and cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into functional software. Your expertise will contribute to optimizing our processes and ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions that meet the evolving needs of our clients. • *Qualifications**

The ideal candidate will possess a degree in (Business) Informatics or a comparable qualification, complemented by relevant professional experience. Extensive knowledge of Java development, particularly with Java and Jakarta EE, is essential. Familiarity with modern tools and technologies such as Git, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Maven, and Selenium is required. Practical experience with agile methodologies like Scrum and Kanban, including hybrid approaches, is highly desirable. Proficiency in Jira and Confluence for daily project management and documentation is expected. Knowledge of Cobol, SQL, or mainframe technologies is advantageous but not mandatory. Candidates should demonstrate high reliability, excellent communication skills, and a strong team-oriented mindset. Fluency in German at a minimum C1 level is necessary for effective collaboration within the team and with stakeholders.
