About The Role We are seeking a talented and versatile Frontend/Full Stack Web Developer to join our dynamic team in Berlin-Tempelhof. In this role, you will work across various facets of web development, including frontend UI/UX design, backend API maintenance, and DevOps tasks. You will be instrumental in shaping the user experience of our software products, which serve the global film industry, by designing intuitive and complex web interfaces with Vue.js and related technologies.

Your responsibilities will also extend to enhancing our PHP/Yii2-based backend services, evaluating and integrating AI tools into our workflows, and contributing to infrastructure automation through CI/CD pipelines and server management. Additionally, you will be involved in debugging, quality assurance, and occasionally working with embedded video players and transcoding pipelines based on FFMPEG. This role offers the opportunity to work on innovative projects at the intersection of media technology and artificial intelligence, making a tangible impact on how films are produced, distributed, and reviewed worldwide.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess solid experience with Vue.js or comparable modern JavaScript frameworks, demonstrating the ability to develop responsive and user-friendly web interfaces. Proficiency in PHP, especially with frameworks like Yii2, is essential, along with strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript.

A keen eye for UI/UX design and the ability to independently make design decisions are highly valued. Candidates should be flexible, proactive, and eager to work on diverse tasks across the full development stack. Additional assets include experience with AI-driven development, familiarity with agentic AI workflows and tools such as Claude Code and Codex, and knowledge of component libraries like Element+ or Quasar.

Experience with video encoding/transcoding using FFMPEG, security, and performance optimization will be considered advantageous. A background in software development within media or related fields is preferred, along with a passion for innovative technology and continuous learning.

Responsibilities As a Frontend/Full Stack Web Developer, your core responsibilities will include designing and implementing complex yet intuitive web interfaces using Vue.js and Element+. You will collaborate with UI/UX designers to shape the user experience, from wireframes to final implementation.

Maintaining and enhancing our PHP/Yii2-based APIs and backend services will be a critical part of your role, ensuring seamless integration and performance. You will evaluate and incorporate AI tools into our development workflows, exploring new ways to leverage artificial intelligence for efficiency and innovation. Participation in DevOps activities such as building CI/CD pipelines, deploying updates, and managing server infrastructure will be expected, supporting the stability and scalability of our applications.

You will systematically analyze bugs, troubleshoot issues across the entire stack, and implement fixes to uphold high-quality standards. Occasionally, you will work with embedded video players and the FFMPEG transcoding pipeline to support media processing functionalities.
