We are seeking a skilled Fullstack Softwareentwickler (m/w/d) Java / React to join our KFZ-Versicherung team at CHECK24. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and enhancing our insurance comparison platform, focusing on creating innovative features and scalable solutions. You will work across the entire technology stack, from frontend interfaces to backend services, ensuring high-quality, reliable, and efficient software. Your contributions will directly impact the user experience and operational efficiency of our services, helping us maintain our position as Germany's top insurance comparison platform. To be successful in this role, candidates should possess a successfully completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related field, or an apprenticeship as a Fachinformatiker (m/w/d). Relevant professional experience of 1-2 years in software development, including internships or working student roles, is preferred. Proficiency in Java and TypeScript/JavaScript is essential, along with experience working with relational databases such as MySQL. Practical knowledge of frameworks like Spring Boot and React is required. Candidates should have a solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and software design principles, as well as familiarity with architectural patterns such as layered or hexagonal architecture. Strong analytical skills, self-motivation, and the willingness to learn and take responsibility are key. Excellent communication skills in German (C1 level) and a team-oriented mindset are also necessary.
As a Fullstack Softwareentwickler, your core responsibilities will include developing new features for our insurance products using Java/Spring Boot and React/TypeScript. You will work on all layers of the application stack, from frontend user interfaces to backend REST APIs and database integrations, including platform components like the MCP-Server. You will be involved in integrating AI functionalities, such as large language models (LLMs), into existing and new system components to enhance automation and user experience. Ensuring system performance, stability, and scalability will be a key focus, achieved through code reviews, automated testing, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. You will also be encouraged to bring your ideas forward, take ownership of features or components, and contribute to the technical and functional development of our platform.
