We're partnering with a growing technology consultancy delivering modern, cloud-based applications for enterprise customers across Germany. They're looking for Fullstack Developers with a strong JVM background who enjoy solving complex problems, working directly with customers and taking genuine ownership of the solutions they build.
The core focus is Kotlin, Java and Angular, with exposure to modern cloud and DevOps technologies.
What You'll Be Doing
- Design and develop modern fullstack applications using Kotlin, Java and Angular
- Build scalable backend services and APIs with Spring Boot
- Develop modern, component-based frontend applications with Angular and TypeScript
- Design technical solutions based on real customer and business requirements
- Contribute to software architecture and key technical decisions
- Work with cloud-native environments across AWS and Azure
- Build and deploy applications using Docker and Kubernetes
- Work directly with customers as a technical partner throughout project delivery
- Continuously improve engineering processes, code quality and development standards
- Share knowledge and support other developers within the engineering team
What We're Looking For
- 6+ years of professional software development experience
- Strong experience with Kotlin and/or Java
- Commercial experience with Angular
- Good knowledge of Spring Boot
- Experience developing modern fullstack or backend-heavy applications
- Understanding of REST APIs, microservices and modern software architecture
- Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes and cloud environments is highly beneficial
- Comfortable working in agile, client-facing environments
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a comparable discipline
- German C1+ – essential
- Currently based in Germany
