Interim Data Transformation Programme Manager

We are looking for an experienced Data Transformation Programme Manager to lead a large-scale data and AI transformation programme across an enterprise environment.

This is a senior delivery role, working closely with Data, Technology and Business leadership across a number of workstreams including data platforms, governance, analytics, AI and wider transformation.

The programme is already underway, so we need someone who can come in quickly, take ownership and provide structure across multiple teams and stakeholders.

Contract: 12+ months

Location: Remote, with frequent travel to Berlin, Germany

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of a major data and AI transformation programme
• Coordinate multiple data, platform, analytics, AI and governance workstreams
• Work closely with senior stakeholders across Data, Technology and the wider business
• Manage programme plans, dependencies, risks and delivery milestones
• Support the development of a modern enterprise data platform
• Help align data platform work with AI and advanced analytics initiatives
• Coordinate internal teams, external partners and specialist contractors
• Provide clear reporting and communication to senior leadership
• Improve programme governance and ways of working

Experience

• Strong experience delivering large Data or Technology transformation programmes
• Experience working within complex enterprise environments
• Good understanding of modern data platforms and cloud-based data environments
• Exposure to platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, Azure or AWS
• Experience working across Data Engineering, BI, Analytics, AI or Data Governance teams
• Experience supporting AI, machine learning or advanced analytics programmes
• Strong senior stakeholder management experience
• Previous contract or interim experience
• High-level English is essential
• German language skills would be a bonus

You do not need to be a hands-on technical specialist, but you should be comfortable working with senior Data Architects, Engineers, AI teams, Platform teams and Data leadership.
