IT Consultant

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!

The Role

• Analyze customer requirements and create technical security concepts (e.g., network segmentation, Zero Trust, Microsoft 365 Security)
• Plan, operate, and further develop network and firewall environments (hardware and software)
• Conduct and support migration projects for existing network infrastructures
• Provide Pre-Sales support including PoCs and customer-specific solution designs
• Plan, implement, and integrate secure network solutions in on-premises and hybrid environments
• Perform Security Assessments, optimization consulting, and 2nd/3rd-level troubleshooting
• Create and maintain technical documentation

What You'll Need

• Completed vocational training as an IT specialist, a degree in (Business/Medical) Informatics, or comparable practical experience
• Experience in project environments and solid knowledge of Sophos product portfolio (Firewall, Switch, Antivirus, WAF) and HPE Aruba environment is a plus
• IT project or consulting experience and a desire for continuous development is a plus
• Interest in new technologies, innovation, and a commitment to staying up-to-date professionally
• Strong analytical, structured, and solution-oriented approach to work
• Business fluent German language skills
• Willingness to travel within the DACH region and occasional presence at the Oberessendorf location
