• *About The Role**

We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT System Engineer (m/w/d) to join our IT-Operations team at our Nürnberg location. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in advancing our modern workplace and cloud environments, particularly focusing on Microsoft 365 and related technologies. Your expertise will support the ongoing development, professionalization, and sustainable operation of our digital infrastructure. As part of our dynamic team, you will collaborate closely with the Workplace team to implement innovative solutions, troubleshoot complex issues, and optimize our IT processes.

• *Qualifications**

The ideal candidate will possess a solid educational background and relevant experience in IT systems and cloud services. A completed apprenticeship as a Fachinformatiker (m/w/d) for System Integration is essential. Proven expertise in Microsoft 365, including Entra ID, Intune, and Microsoft 365 administration, is required.

Experience in IT support or system operation will be highly valued, along with knowledge of hybrid IT environments combining on-premises Active Directory with cloud-based services.

Additional qualifications include a strong interest in automation, process improvement, and structured IT operations. Familiarity with PowerShell scripting, Microsoft Graph, and automation platforms such as Azure Logic Apps, PowerAutomate, and Azure Runbooks is advantageous. The candidate should demonstrate a structured, autonomous working style, analytical thinking, and excellent communication skills in German and English, to effectively collaborate within an international team.

• *Responsibilities**

The primary responsibilities for this role include managing and enhancing our Microsoft 365 environment, including Entra ID, Microsoft 365 Admin Center, and Intune. You will oversee our hybrid identity and workplace setup, maintaining seamless integration between on-premises Active Directory and cloud services. Supporting the Workplace and Service teams with complex technical issues, providing second-level support, and ensuring rapid resolution of incidents will be key parts of your role.

You will analyze and troubleshoot technical problems, develop sustainable solutions, and automate repetitive tasks using PowerShell. Building and refining our endpoint management system with tools like Intune and Autopilot will be part of your ongoing projects. Additionally, you will contribute to the planning and implementation of new IT tools, cloud services, and operational processes.

Documenting systems, processes, and solutions in our internal knowledge base will ensure knowledge sharing and continuity across teams.
