About The Role As a Senior Java Developer (m/w/d) at WIR, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of software solutions that support societal progress and innovation. Your primary responsibility will be to develop, optimize, and maintain high-quality, scalable Java applications, utilizing frameworks such as Spring Boot. You will implement user stories, enhance existing codebases, and ensure code quality through rigorous testing and review processes. Additionally, you will be instrumental in advancing our Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, promoting efficiency and reliability in deployment.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Computer Science or a related field, complemented by several years of professional experience in software development. You should have extensive expertise in developing complex applications using Java and modern frameworks like Spring Boot.

Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes within cloud environments is essential. Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab, along with a solid understanding of container practices, is required. A proactive mindset towards agile working, high self-initiative, and a keen interest in emerging technologies, including AI tools, are highly valued.

Fluency in German (minimum C1 level) and excellent communication skills are necessary to collaborate effectively with team members and clients. Your passion for continuous learning and innovation will be key to your success in this role.
