We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Java Enterprise Developer and Architect (m/w/d) to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in the development, integration, and enhancement of our core applications and software solutions. Your expertise will help shape the architecture of our systems, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and aligned with our operational needs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including platform and application development units, to implement innovative solutions that support our business objectives. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the modernization of our IT landscape, utilizing the latest technologies and best practices in enterprise Java development. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently within a collaborative team environment.
Qualifications The ideal candidate should possess a solid background in Java programming and enterprise application development. Essential qualifications include experience with Jakarta EE and MicroProfile, particularly JMS, EJB / CDI, and REST APIs secured with JWT. Proficiency in handling JEE application servers and knowledge of Quarkus (MicroProfile implementation) are required. Familiarity with test frameworks such as JUnit and experience working with cloud-native principles, particularly on AWS, will be advantageous. Candidates should demonstrate a self-driven, structured approach to work, along with strong analytical skills and the ability to abstract complex problems. Additional beneficial skills include knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, OpenAPI, application integration across different platforms, and familiarity with build tools like GitLab CI and Maven.
