We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Java Developer (m/w/d) to join our team for the application development of our damage settlement systems. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining applications within an agile work environment, primarily focusing on the damage and accident application landscape. Your responsibilities will include close collaboration with business analysts to translate technical requirements into functional solutions, and actively participating in the continuous improvement of agile workflows. You should have a strong command of the Java programming language and Jakarta EE framework, with practical experience using tools such as Jenkins, IntelliJ IDEA (preferably with Kotlin), Maven, JUnit, and GitLab. Knowledge of Jira and Confluence is also required. Candidates must demonstrate excellent team collaboration skills, reliability, and strong communication abilities. Proficiency in German at least at C1 level is mandatory to ensure effective communication within the team and with stakeholders.
