• *About The Role**

We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Java Enterprise Developer and Architect (m/w/d) to join our dynamic team at the earliest possible date. In this role, you will be instrumental in advancing our IT systems by developing and implementing innovative integration concepts for both internally developed applications and standard software solutions. You will work closely with platform teams to ensure operational aspects are considered during development, thereby contributing to the stability and efficiency of our IT environment. Your expertise will support the evolution of our application landscape, ensuring it meets current and future demands. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on challenging projects within a collaborative team, utilizing modern technologies and methodologies to shape the digital future of public insurance services.

• *Qualifications**

The ideal candidate will possess substantial experience with Java programming and a solid understanding of Jakarta EE and MicroProfile frameworks. Proficiency in JMS, EJB / CDI, and REST API development secured with JWT is essential.

Experience with JEE application servers and Quarkus (a MicroProfile implementation) is highly desirable. Candidates should have familiarity with testing frameworks such as JUnit and demonstrate a structured, independent working style, complemented by strong analytical and abstract thinking skills. Knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and OpenAPI, as well as experience integrating applications across different platforms, will be advantageous.

Familiarity with standard build tools like GitLab CI and Maven, along with an understanding of cloud-native principles, especially AWS, will further strengthen your application.
