We are seeking an engaged and qualified Senior Java Developer (m/w/d) to join our application development team focused on claims settlement processes. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining applications within our claims and accident landscape. Working in an agile environment, you will collaborate closely with business analysts to translate complex requirements into effective software solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in (business) informatics or a comparable qualification, complemented by substantial professional experience as a Java developer. Proven experience working within agile SCRUM teams is essential. Candidates should have a strong command of Java and Jakarta EE technologies, with proficiency in related tools such as Jenkins, IntelliJ IDEA (preferably with Kotlin), Maven, JUnit, and GitLab. Familiarity with Jira and Confluence is also required. Excellent communication skills in German at least at C1 level are necessary to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
