About The Role

We are seeking a Fullstack Developer (m/w/d) with expertise in Java and TypeScript to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and maintaining modern web applications that serve our clients' needs. You will work in a collaborative environment utilizing agile methodologies, modern tools, and innovative technologies to deliver high-quality solutions.

Your responsibilities will include designing scalable APIs, developing user interfaces using Angular, and integrating event streaming platforms like Apache Kafka. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in application development, particularly within the financial services sector. You should have extensive experience with Java and TypeScript, along with familiarity in agile project management and Scrum practices. Proficiency in HTML, CSS, Angular, and Spring Boot is essential, as is experience with responsive web design and UX/UI trends.

Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Gradle, as well as version control systems like Git, is required. Basic understanding of containerization platforms like Docker and OpenShift, along with experience in relational and NoSQL databases such as MSSQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB, is highly desirable. Additionally, familiarity with ORM frameworks like Hibernate or JPA, as well as event streaming platforms like Apache Kafka, will be advantageous.

Excellent communication skills in German and good proficiency in English are necessary to succeed in this role.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance front-end components within the Angular framework, ensuring a seamless user experience.
• Design, implement, and maintain RESTful APIs to support application functionalities.
• Create and connect producers and consumers using Apache Kafka for real-time data processing.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners and external partners to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Manage the operational aspects of applications, including deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Ensure compliance with ITIL processes, particularly incident and change management, with proper documentation.
• Apply agile methodologies, participate in Scrum meetings, and handle sprint tickets effectively.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and adopt new technologies to optimize development processes.
