The Role
- Develop, design, and optimize Java-based software solutions, guiding them from requirements analysis to deployment.
- Influence technical decisions regarding architecture, object-oriented design, and modern software engineering principles.
- Ensure high code quality and maintainability through automated tests, code reviews, and continuous improvement.
- Work actively in agile development teams and share technical expertise through mentoring, pair programming, and professional exchange.
- Take responsibility for complex technical challenges and develop pragmatic, scalable, and customer-oriented solutions.
What You'll Need
- Several years of experience in professional Java software development and proven success in implementing complex software projects.
- Above-average successful degree in computer science, software engineering, or a comparable field with a clear focus on software development.
- Strong knowledge of Java, Spring/Spring Boot, modern architectural and development approaches, test automation, CI/CD, and container technologies; initial experience with AI-powered software development is a plus.
- Good German and English language skills for collaboration in interdisciplinary teams.
- High degree of personal responsibility, analytical thinking, pragmatic solution orientation, and enjoyment in sharing knowledge and advancing technical topics.
