Senior Java Backend Engineer – Contract – Germany

• Location: Germany / Remote
• Contract: 6 months initially, extension likely
• Start: ASAP
• Rate: €80–100/hour
• Experience: Mid - Senior
• Tech: Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, SQL
• Nice to have: AWS/Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, Kafka, CI/CD
• Language: English; German advantageous

Role:

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Java Backend Engineer to join a development team working on scalable enterprise applications. You’ll be responsible for designing and developing backend services using Java and Spring Boot, working with microservices and cloud technologies in an Agile environment.

Requirements:

• Strong commercial experience with Java
• Excellent Spring Boot experience
• Experience building REST APIs and microservices
• Strong SQL/database knowledge
• Experience with Git and CI/CD
• Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes
• Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum teams

Contract: 6 months + extension

Location: Germany / Remote

Rate: €80–100/hour
