Java Software Engineer

We're working with a leading full-service IT provider for public insurance companies in Lower Saxony, Bremen, and Saxony-Anhalt. This company delivers modern IT services across various locations, offering a secure and opportunity-rich work environment.

The Role

• Develop and implement concepts for integrating custom and standard software applications
• Ensure operational considerations by collaborating closely with platform teams
• Provide support to application development teams
• Capture and evaluate functional and non-functional requirements from operations and application development

What You'll Need

• Experience with the Java programming language
• Knowledge of Jakarta EE and MicroProfile, specifically JMS, EJB/CDI, and REST APIs with JWT security
• Experience with JEE application servers
• Familiarity with Quarkus (MicroProfile implementation)
• Experience with testing frameworks such as JUnit
• Independent and structured work approach, with experience in self-organizing teams
• Strong analytical and abstract reasoning skills
