About The Role We are seeking a talented and motivated .NET / WPF Software Developer to join our dynamic development team in Innsbruck. In this role, you will be instrumental in enhancing our desktop application, a sophisticated WPF-based solution built on the .NET framework.

Your primary responsibility will be to contribute to the ongoing development and refinement of our risk management software, ensuring it remains robust, scalable, and aligned with user needs. You will work closely with project managers, UX designers, and clients to implement features, improve existing functionalities, and ensure the highest quality standards are met. Qualifications The ideal candidate possesses a genuine enthusiasm for programming and a strong foundation in software development. You should have a completed technical or scientific education, such as a degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (e.g., HTL, architecture).

Demonstrable experience in C# and the .NET ecosystem is essential, preferably with hands-on experience in WPF application development. If you have developed personal tools or projects using similar technologies, this will be considered advantageous. Excellent communication skills in German (C1/C2 level) are required, as all technical documentation and team communication are conducted in German.

Proficiency in English is a plus. You should enjoy working collaboratively, communicating openly, and continuously learning to improve your skills and contribute effectively to the team.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the ongoing development of our WPF desktop application, including working on the data model, backend logic, and user interface design using XAML and MVVM architecture.
• Refactor legacy code to improve performance, maintainability, and scalability, ensuring the application remains up-to-date with current standards.
• Implement and expand unit and integration tests to guarantee the reliability of existing and new features, supporting continuous integration processes.
• Develop auxiliary tools and utilities that enhance the main application’s functionality and user experience.
• Create comprehensive technical documentation and user help guides to facilitate ease of use and future maintenance.
• As your product knowledge deepens, provide support and engage in direct communication with partners and clients to address technical questions and gather feedback for further improvements.
