.NET Developer
Stellenbeschreibung
About The Company advasolutions SE develops software and automation solutions for intralogistics. The company focuses on a modular shuttle system that brings together hardware, controls, and software to support scalable automated warehousing and material-flow operations. Its solutions are used in real-world logistics environments, where reliable communication between software, equipment, and operational processes is essential.
Our teams build distributed systems using technologies that include C#/.NET, microservices, messaging, actor frameworks such as Microsoft Orleans, Docker, and Kubernetes. Work spans backend and platform development, DevOps, system integration, and other areas of the technology stack. Software engineers collaborate closely with engineering, product, and project teams, and can see how their work operates in customer facilities.
Architecture and platform decisions are shaped through active team involvement.
About The Role
We are seeking an experienced C#/.NET Software Developer to help develop and evolve the backend platform for our warehouse and shuttle systems. You will create scalable, high-performance microservices and contribute to the architecture, integrations, and internal frameworks that connect software with automation components and physical equipment.
This role combines product development with customer-project delivery. You will help translate project requirements into maintainable software solutions, from analysis and technical design through implementation, testing, integration, and go-live support. The position offers an annual salary range of €75,000 to €90,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
Project-related travel to customer sites is expected, particularly for integration, commissioning, and go-live activities, at approximately 15%.
Qualifications
You bring several years of professional software development experience with C#/.NET and a solid understanding of microservices, distributed systems, software architecture, and service communication. You have designed or evolved technical solutions, interfaces, and integrations, and have experience implementing software in customer projects. Practical knowledge of REST APIs, Git, CI/CD, and Docker is expected.
You value clean code, software quality, and maintainable architectures. You can make well-reasoned technical decisions, explain them clearly, and work collaboratively to move solutions forward. Very good written and spoken German and English skills at C1 level or above are required, along with a willingness to travel to customer locations as project needs arise.
Experience with every technology in our environment is not required. A strong foundation in .NET, distributed systems, and software architecture, combined with curiosity and a willingness to learn, is what matters most. Familiarity with technologies such as Microsoft Orleans, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, Nuke, SonarCloud, messaging systems, or related tools is an advantage.
Responsibilities
Develop and enhance scalable, performant C#/.NET microservices for the backend of our warehouse and shuttle systems, including solutions based on Microsoft Orleans. Contribute to the evolution of internal frameworks for messaging, logging, eventing, and communication between services.
Analyze customer requirements and design, implement, and integrate tailored solutions on top of our standard software. Develop architectures and interfaces that connect our platform with software systems and automation components. Carry out software, integration, and system testing, and support commissioning, stabilization, and go-live at customer sites.
Participate in code reviews, quality assurance, and the development of coding guidelines. Identify reusable project solutions and help incorporate them into the standard product. Support and mentor junior developers, collaborate closely with Product Owners, QA, and teams working on shuttle, station, and IT topics, and contribute to DevOps and CI/CD processes using tools such as GitHub Actions, Nuke, Docker, and SonarCloud.
Benefits
You will work on software that interacts with real equipment and logistics processes, with opportunities to contribute to architecture and platform development rather than working on isolated features. The role offers close collaboration across software, engineering, product, and project teams, as well as exposure to a broad technical environment. You will have the opportunity to build on your existing expertise and learn technologies relevant to distributed systems and automation.
Compensation is €75,000–€90,000 per year.
Equal Opportunity advasolutions SE is committed to fair and respectful recruitment. Employment decisions are based on role-related qualifications, skills, and experience. We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds and aim to provide an inclusive environment where people can contribute, collaborate, and grow.
