The Role
- Manage and operate central Fortinet platforms.
- Develop standardized operating procedures and support infrastructure automation.
- Administer the enterprise firewall infrastructure, including 400 firewalls across datacenters, Microsoft Azure, and international locations.
- Oversee the operation of datacenter firewalls and Azure Connectivity Hubs based on Fortinet.
- Contribute technical expertise to infrastructure, network, and cloud projects.
- Analyze complex network and firewall issues, support lifecycle and security measures, and ensure stable platform operation.
What You'll Need
- Completed studies in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Business Informatics, or comparable IT education.
- Ideally, at least three years of professional experience in network and IT security or enterprise network operations.
- In-depth knowledge of enterprise networking and firewall technologies.
- Experience in operating or administering network and security infrastructures.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in network and firewall environments.
- Proficient with Wireshark or similar analysis tools.
- Interest in cloud technologies, Infrastructure as Code, Terraform, and CI/CD.
- Good German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
