About The Role We are seeking a skilled PHP-/Backend-Entwickler:in (m/w/d) to join our dynamic team in Neustadt am Rübenberge. This full-time, permanent position offers an exciting opportunity for a backend developer with a passion for clean, efficient code and innovative solutions.

As part of our team, you will be instrumental in developing and maintaining backend processes, APIs, and logical frameworks that underpin our products and services. You will collaborate closely with product owners to understand client requirements, provide technical insights, and contribute to the continuous enhancement of our digital solutions. Working in our state-of-the-art co-working space and Innovation-LAB "ROUVEN22," you will be part of a creative environment that fosters innovation and professional growth.

Qualifications

• A completed university degree or vocational training in computer science or a related field.
• Exceptional PHP and backend development skills, supported by relevant professional experience.
• Experience with NEOS CMS is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of app development processes is a plus.
• Strong logical thinking abilities and the capacity to recognize complex interdependencies and potential pitfalls.
• A passion for creating high-quality, robust code and innovative products.
• Excellent command of the German language at C2 level or higher.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the development of our core products by designing and implementing backend processes, APIs, and logical frameworks to ensure functionality and scalability.
• Engage in constructive dialogue with Product Owners to understand client needs, advise on technical possibilities, and support product evolution.
• Continuously expand your technical expertise by exploring new technologies and integrating them into our product ecosystem to ensure ongoing innovation and improvement.
• Maintain high standards of code quality, security, and performance across all projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including front-end developers, designers, and project managers to deliver seamless digital solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation to uphold best practices and facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.
