About The Role

We are seeking a skilled PHP-/Backend-Developer (m/w/d) to join our dynamic team in Neustadt am Rübenberge. In this role, you will work in a modern co-working space and innovation lab "ROUVEN22," collaborating closely with product owners and development teams to create high-quality, reliable backend processes and APIs. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the technical robustness and efficiency of our products, contributing to the continuous improvement and evolution of our digital solutions.

Qualifications The ideal candidate possesses a relevant academic background or vocational training in computer science or related fields. You should have exceptional PHP and backend development skills, supported by professional experience in developing scalable and maintainable code.

Experience with NEOS CMS is advantageous but not mandatory. Knowledge of app development and integration is a plus. A strong logical mindset and the ability to recognize complex interdependencies and potential pitfalls are essential. Passion for creating high-quality, robust code and a genuine interest in our products are vital. Fluency in German at a C2 level or higher is required to effectively communicate within our team and with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend processes, APIs, and logical workflows for our digital products, ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with product owners to understand customer requirements, provide technical insights, and support product development and enhancement initiatives.
• Engage in continuous learning by exploring new technologies and integrating innovative solutions to advance our product offerings.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation to uphold quality standards and facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.
• Contribute to the optimization of existing systems and the implementation of new features aligned with business goals.
