We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analytics Engineer (d/m/w) to join our Data Analytics Team in Freiburg. This pivotal role combines technical expertise, methodological clarity, and effective communication to build and maintain our central data platform. As a key contributor, you will be responsible for designing scalable, secure, and reliable data solutions that serve as the foundation for all data analytics use cases within the organization. Your work will enable data scientists, analysts, and business units to make informed, data-driven decisions that support strategic objectives.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, software developers, and business stakeholders. You will translate complex requirements into robust data pipelines, ensuring the highest standards of data quality, security, and compliance. Your ability to bridge technical and business perspectives will be essential in fostering a data-driven culture across the organization.

• *Qualifications
• Proven experience in stakeholder management, requirements engineering, and effective communication in technical environments
• Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as Scrum and experience working across organizational boundaries
• Excellent command of German (minimum C1 level) and strong communication skills
• Proactive and solutions-oriented mindset with a focus on interdisciplinary collaboration
• Ability to quickly grasp complex concepts, organize information systematically, and communicate clearly
• Strong DevOps skills, including Git, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and containerization with Docker
• Extensive experience in data modeling, cloud infrastructures (preferably AWS), and data integration
• Proficiency in SQL, TypeScript, and Python for data processing and automation
• Nice-to-have: Experience with Infrastructure as Code, MLOps, and Big Data technologies such as Hadoop

• Design, develop, and enhance a scalable and secure data platform to support current and future data analytics applications
• Conceive, implement, and operate robust data processing pipelines and data-driven services
• Maintain and optimize data pipelines to ensure high data quality and reliable access for data scientists and analysts
• Manage user access and data governance within the platform to ensure compliance and security standards
• Evaluate and implement modern database solutions, tools, and frameworks to improve data infrastructure
• Ensure adherence to compliance, security, and stability standards across all data systems
• Participate actively in agile teams, facilitating communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the evolution of data engineering practices
