Project Assistant

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!

The Role

• Acquire in-depth practical knowledge in emissions measurement, functional testing, and calibration of stationary, continuous measurement systems (6-12 months training).
• Assist with preparation and follow-up of measurements.
• Maintain and perform simple repairs on measurement equipment.
• Independently conduct emissions measurements, functional tests, and calibrations according to relevant standards.
• Evaluate measurement data and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
• Travel regularly (approx. 60-70%) for assignments in Lower Saxony, Hamburg, Schleswig-Holstein, and Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, with some overnight stays (approx. 20-30%).

What You'll Need

• Completed technical vocational training (e.g., chemical technician, chemical-technical assistant, environmental technician, or similar).
• Ideally 3-5 years of professional experience in measurement and control technology, as well as analytical technology.
• Independent and dedicated work ethic with a high degree of reliability and responsibility.
• Strong customer orientation and communication skills.
• Very good German language skills, both written and spoken.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Willingness to travel (including multi-day business trips) and possession of a Class B driver's license.
