About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Python Engineer (m/w/d) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing scalable backend systems using Python, designing and maintaining APIs, and creating integrations that are reliable and performant under real-world load conditions.

Your work will directly impact the stability, efficiency, and quality of our core products, supporting our mission to provide innovative online recruiting solutions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to shape system architecture, implement best practices, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications To succeed in this role, you should have several years of professional experience in software development with Python, demonstrating a strong commitment to clean code, testing, and maintainability. You should possess a solid understanding of backend development principles and modern architectural patterns, with hands-on experience in frameworks such as Django.

Familiarity with databases like PostgreSQL, containerization tools like Docker, and monitoring solutions such as Grafana is essential. Additionally, you should be proficient in Linux environments and have routine experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation, and Git-based workflows. Strong ownership mentality, technical depth, and the ability to work independently are crucial.

Excellent communication skills in both German and English (minimum C1 level) are required to collaborate effectively within our international team.

Responsibilities The core responsibilities of this role include developing and maintaining productive Python backend systems, APIs, and integrations that support our online recruitment platforms. You will design scalable and maintainable services capable of handling real-world traffic, ensuring high availability and performance.

Your tasks also involve creating clear, pragmatic solutions for complex technical requirements, continuously improving testing coverage, CI/CD processes, and deployment workflows. You will actively participate in architectural discussions, system design, and technical decision-making, contributing your expertise to shape the future of our platform.
