Robot Operator (AI Training)
About The Role
What if your daily routine — cooking breakfast, tidying up, navigating your home — could directly shape the future of robotics? We're looking for Robot Operators to capture real-world video footage of everyday human tasks, creating the training data that teaches next-generation AI robots how to understand and interact with the physical world.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role open to almost anyone. No technical background, no robotics experience, no special skills required — just a camera, a space to record, and the willingness to follow simple guidelines.

- Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
- Record yourself performing common, everyday tasks — cooking, cleaning, organizing, navigating spaces — using a smartphone or video camera
- Follow clear, step-by-step guides that tell you exactly what to capture and how
- Ensure footage is well-lit, clearly framed, and captures full task sequences
- Submit recordings along with brief task descriptions and structured notes
- Participate in recurring recording sessions as new tasks and projects are assigned
- Access to a smartphone or video camera capable of capturing clear footage
- A home, apartment, or workspace where you can record comfortably
- Comfortable being on camera performing routine, everyday activities
- Reliable and detail-oriented — able to follow recording guidelines consistently
- Self-motivated and able to complete task-based work independently
- No technical, AI, or robotics experience required
- Experience with video recording, content creation, or photography
- A variety of environments or spaces available to record in
- Familiarity with AI tools or data collection workflows
- Work on genuinely cutting-edge AI and robotics projects alongside leading research labs
- Fully remote and flexible — record on your own schedule, from your own space
- Freelance autonomy with the structure of clear, task-based assignments
- Contribute to technology that will shape how robots understand and navigate the real world
