The Role
- Analyze customer requirements and develop technical security concepts (e.g., network segmentation, Zero Trust, Microsoft 365 Security).
- Plan, operate, and evolve network and firewall environments (hardware and software).
- Conduct and support migration projects for existing network infrastructures.
- Provide pre-sales support including Proofs of Concept (PoCs) and custom solution designs.
- Plan, implement, and integrate secure network solutions in on-premises and hybrid environments.
- Perform security assessments, optimization consultations, and 2nd/3rd level troubleshooting.
- Create and maintain technical documentation.
What You'll Need
- Completed vocational training as a specialist for IT systems integration or a degree in Computer Science (Business/Medical Informatics), or equivalent practical experience.
- Ideally, experience in project environments and solid knowledge of the Sophos product portfolio (Firewall, Switch, Antivirus, WAF) and the HPE Aruba environment.
- Ideally, existing IT project or consulting experience and a passion for continuous development.
- Interest in new technologies, innovative spirit, and a commitment to staying technically up-to-date.
- Strong analytical, structured, and solution-oriented approach to work.
- Negotiable German language skills.
