Senior Full-stack Developer (m/f/d)

Your mission

As our Senior Full-stack Developer, you’ll step into a role with purpose, growth, and real impact.

You’ll join our Tech team, where your work will shape Carly’s global web presence and directly influence our mission to empower car owners worldwide.

Your contributions across frontend and backend architecture will be highly trusted and celebrated, especially as you enhance usability, scalability, and performance in a fast-growing automotive repair and maintenance market.

Your responsibilities

Own the development of impactful product increments from user story to production release

Enhance and scale our web applications using NuxtJS and/or NextJS, with a strong focus on SSR and performance optimization

Build and maintain backend services with Node.js, leveraging AWS Lambda, SNS, and SQS to create scalable APIs and event-driven systems

Ensure high stability and code quality through thoughtful architecture, automated testing, and structured code reviews

Identify and remove bottlenecks in performance, build time, caching strategies, and release flows

Collaborate closely with Product, Marketing, and other stakeholders to deliver meaningful user experiences

Continuously improve our CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure in a fully AWS & Google Cloud-based environment

Your profile

5+ years of proven experience in full-stack development

Strong proficiency in NuxtJS and/or NextJS

Solid hands-on experience with TypeScript

Deep expertise in Node.js, especially within AWS Lambda environments

Practical experience working with SNS, SQS, APIs, and serverless services

Strong understanding of SSR, caching strategies, and performance optimization (Next.js rendering strategies)

Experience writing unit and integration tests (e.g., Jest, Cypress, or similar)

Familiarity with Docker, MongoDB, GraphDB, API Gateways, CloudFront, and CI/CD pipelines

Comfortable working in agile environments (Kanban/Scrum)

A hands-on, solution-oriented mindset with strong ownership and attention to detail

Fluency in English (C1), German is a plus
