About The Role We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer (m/w/d) to join our team at the Böblingen location. In this role, you will be an integral part of our innovative development team, working on next-generation software solutions that operate both on-premise and in the cloud. Your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and maintain software that enables precise measurement of temperature and acoustic signals along fiber optic sensors.

You will work across both front-end and back-end domains, contributing to the full software development lifecycle, from initial concept and planning through implementation, testing, and deployment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to push the boundaries of physics and technology, transforming complex scientific principles into practical, reliable solutions for our customers. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and active involvement in improving software quality and security are key aspects of this role.

Qualifications The ideal candidate possesses a relevant university degree in computer science, software engineering, or a comparable qualification. A minimum of five years of professional experience in software development is required, with proven expertise in .Net and C#. Strong knowledge of Angular and TypeScript is essential, along with experience working with distributed systems and databases.

A keen eye for writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code is crucial. Fluency in German (C2 level) and English is mandatory, demonstrating excellent communication skills. The candidate should be enthusiastic, curious, and eager to learn new technologies.

Willingness to work 50% on-site in Böblingen and contribute to a collaborative, innovative environment is also necessary.

Responsibilities In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing software solutions that meet the highest standards of security, reliability, and performance. Your duties include participating in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from gathering requirements and estimating effort to code reviews and testing. You will develop both front-end and back-end components, ensuring seamless integration and user experience.

Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and tools. Additionally, you will be involved in troubleshooting, optimizing system performance, and ensuring the security of the software.
