Software Engineer - Data Focus (Python, Kafka, Airflow)

💶This can be a 12 month rolling contract or Full Time Role

‼️The successful person for this role will need to be happy to go through SÜ2 security clearance‼️

The Role

This is a customer facing, technical role suited to someone with a background in software development and comfortable working directly with end users. The role is a mix of hands on coding and solution architect type work. You should be comfortable reading and interpreting code. You will work closely with architects, developers, and operations teams, solving technical problems, supporting deployments, and guiding projects through from planning through to delivery.

For This Role, the Ideal Person Will Have

• 5+ years of experience in software development experience
• German speaking and resident in Germany, with a willingness to undergo SÜ2 security clearance
• Familiarity with software architectures, deployment, and operations
• Comfortable working in Linux environments

Technologies (Not all needed so if you are missing some, please do still apply!)

• Good experience with Python, Apache Kafka, Apache Airflow
• Experience with OPenShift
• Experience with Java
• Exposure to Trino and Nessie
• Experience with agent based solutions and Hugging Face
• Development and operational skills with OpenShift
