We're working with Randstad on this exciting opportunity. This role focuses on embedded software development for airborne systems, involving all stages from design to validation and release management. If you're a proactive team player with a passion for C/C++ and embedded systems, this is for you.
The Role
- Implement software for new and existing products according to design and coding principles
- Develop and execute comprehensive unit and integration tests
- Perform software integration on target hardware and for generated code
- Validate and verify software, ensuring all requirements are met and producing test reports
- Define and design software, capturing high-level requirements and maintaining design documentation
- Contribute to overall engineering planning, process definition, and technical sales support
What You'll Need
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, including cross V-Model responsibilities
- Proven track record of developing unit and integration tests
- Profound knowledge of C and detailed knowledge of embedded software development (e.g., scheduler, firmware)
- Experience developing software for airborne systems (DO-178B/C) and according to MISRA-C
- Working knowledge of Xilinx ARM Cortex SoC
- Strong English language skills; German is a plus
