The Role
- Build AI-native project management software from the database to the UI within a startup environment.
- Develop dashboards, task views, and alerts for project managers, integrating AI automation in the background.
- Design and implement the data schema, queries, and APIs for a complex, interconnected database supporting multi-year projects.
- Write production code in TypeScript, Next.js, and with PostgreSQL, focusing on performance and reliability.
- Take high ownership of critical product areas and collaborate directly with founders.
What You'll Need
- Strong full-stack experience with TypeScript and React/Next.js, including complex frontend development and backend API creation.
- Proven ability in database design, schema creation, query optimization, and handling complex data relationships.
- Experience designing and consuming APIs, including authentication and rate limiting.
- Product sense, with the ability to translate user pain points into effective solutions and understand customer workflows.
- Ability to prototype quickly, measure outcomes, and make pragmatic architectural decisions with a focus on reliability.
- Comfort integrating AI features and experience in a startup environment is a plus.
