We are seeking a talented Senior Software Developer to join a leading financial services provider known for its innovative approach to digital payments and accounting solutions. Our company leverages cutting-edge technology to handle massive data volumes and complex financial processes with speed and reliability.

The Role

• Become a key contributor to core backend products, specializing in financial accounting and payment processing.
• Act as a technical sparring partner to the Product Owner, guiding product strategy with expertise in payments, billing logic, and data models.
• Translate business and regulatory requirements into scalable backend solutions with clear system integrations.
• Develop and optimize high-performance batch and real-time processes for large data volumes.
• Design, maintain, and tune relational data models (Oracle SQL), implementing efficient ORM mapping.
• Develop automated reporting workflows using BI software like Crystal Reports and ensure end-to-end quality through automated testing.
• Work in an agile Scrum team, contributing to planning, delivery, and continuous improvement.

What You'll Need

• Completed degree or equivalent IT education with at least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Profound experience in backend development with Java, Spring Boot, Maven, Jenkins, JUnit5, and Cucumber.
• Deep understanding of financial accounting, payment processing, and complex business processes.
• Excellent knowledge of relational databases (preferably Oracle SQL Server) and ORM architectures.
• Experience in processing and optimizing mass data.
• Very good German and English language skills for collaboration in an international environment.
