Software Engineer

An established engineering services organisation is looking for an experienced software engineer to join the team. The successful candidate will design and build scalable, AI-powered applications using modern web technologies and cloud infrastructure. This role focuses on developing solutions for complex data analysis, information extraction, and automated reporting within an interdisciplinary environment.

What you'll be doing

• Developing and operating modern AI-supported applications using React, TypeScript, Python, and Azure
• Designing reusable frontend components, design systems, and application frameworks
• Taking end-to-end responsibility for features from initial concept through to production
• Collaborating with product owners, UX designers, and data scientists to deliver scalable technical solutions
• Mentoring junior team members and promoting software quality through code reviews and technical leadership

What we're looking for

• A degree in computer science or a related field with extensive experience in fullstack development
• Deep expertise in React, TypeScript, and building intuitive, responsive, and accessible user interfaces
• Proficiency in backend development with Python, including API design and integration of LLM-based services
• Practical experience with CI/CD, test automation, secure development, and Azure cloud-native architectures
• Fluency in both German and English with the ability to translate business requirements into technical designs
