Position: General Science Expert

Type: Contract

Compensation: $75/hour

Location: Remote

Role Responsibilities

• Design expert-level problems spanning multiple scientific disciplines such as physics, chemistry, biology, and mathematics.
• Review peer-authored problems for clarity, genuine difficulty, and ground-truth correctness.
• Evaluate and compare AI model outputs across domains, delivering Accept / Revise / Reject verdicts with detailed written rationale.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure consistency and rigor across datasets.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while improving AI model performance.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• Demonstrated breadth and rigor across multiple STEM fields.
• Ability to judge correctness outside a single specialty.
• Strong scientific writing and meticulous attention to detail.

Preferred

• Science-olympiad medalists (IPhO/IChO/IBO/IMO), competition winners, or polymath researchers.
