TypeScript Developer
Salary: £60,000 per annum
Location: Büdelsdorf - 2 days per week in office
We are looking for a TypeScript Developer to join a forward-thinking technology team working on the modernisation of a large-scale digital platform.
This is an excellent opportunity for a developer with strong TypeScript, Node.js and AWS experience to build new serverless services, modernise existing applications and contribute to core backend capabilities, including a GraphQL API using Apollo Server and AWS Lambda.
The Role
Working as part of an agile development team, you will be responsible for developing, enhancing and supporting modern cloud-based applications.
Key responsibilities include
- Developing new serverless services using TypeScript, Node.js and AWS.
- Contributing to and enhancing a central GraphQL API using Apollo Server and AWS Lambda.
- Reviewing existing Java services, extending and optimising functionality where appropriate.
- Supporting the migration of selected services and functionality from Java to TypeScript.
- Taking ownership of the quality, monitoring, reliability and stability of the applications you develop.
- Working within a “You build it, you run it” approach, taking responsibility throughout the full development lifecycle.
- Designing practical, scalable technical solutions and delivering them through to production.
- Working closely with other developers, technology teams and business stakeholders.
