About The Role

As a Web Developer, you will build, enhance, and maintain internal web applications and their associated backend services. You will work across application development, APIs, data, and deployment, helping ensure that our internal platforms are reliable, secure, and maintainable. You will also use agentic development tools as part of your work and collaborate with business teams to translate requirements and priorities into practical technical solutions.

This role is suited to a developer who enjoys taking ownership, working systematically in complex environments, and exploring new technologies. You will contribute throughout the software lifecycle, from design and implementation through testing, deployment, monitoring, and ongoing improvement.

Qualifications

You have a completed degree in computer science or a comparable qualification, along with several years of relevant professional experience in web development. You bring knowledge of container technologies and experience integrating, monitoring, and troubleshooting cloud infrastructures. Familiarity with administering, installing, and configuring Linux and Windows systems is also required.

You work independently, reliably, and in a structured manner, and you approach technical challenges with analytical thinking and a strong focus on solutions and quality. You are enthusiastic about new technologies and can communicate effectively with colleagues across technical and business teams. Excellent German skills, at least C2 level, and good written and spoken English skills, at least B1 level, are required.

Responsibilities

Develop, enhance, and maintain internal web applications and supporting backend services, incorporating agentic development tools where appropriate. Design, implement, version, and document APIs and other interfaces. Integrate internal systems, data sources, and platform services, including CRM systems, databases, and business applications.

Model data and implement database access with performance, security, and maintainability in mind. Support software quality through automated testing, code reviews, analysis of defects, and implementation of fixes. Create and maintain container images and CI/CD pipelines, and deploy and operate services on the company’s existing Kubernetes and Docker platform.

Coordinate with business departments to clarify requirements and priorities. Prepare and maintain technical documentation, share knowledge with colleagues, and follow applicable IT security, data protection, and compliance requirements throughout your work.
