About The Role

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Frontend Developer specializing in WordPress to join our team in full-time capacity at our location in Viersen. In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping the digital presence of our clients by creating responsive, high-quality websites tailored to their needs. You will work within agile teams that value flat hierarchies, offering you the freedom to contribute your ideas and influence project outcomes.

Your primary responsibilities will include maintaining existing client websites, implementing complete screendesigns into responsive WordPress templates, and ensuring the technical and visual quality of each project. Whether working independently or collaboratively on projects exceeding 500 hours, you will be a key player in delivering innovative and user-friendly digital solutions that align with client goals and brand identity.

Qualifications The ideal candidate is a WordPress enthusiast who despises generic templates and prefers custom solutions. You should have a strong command of HTML, SCSS, JavaScript, and PHP, with practical experience in developing responsive websites. Familiarity with Docker and Git is essential, as well as experience with Bootstrap and Symfony frameworks.

You should value clean, maintainable code and enjoy developing tailored functionalities rather than relying on off-the-shelf templates. First-hand experience in client communication is a plus, alongside the ability to work effectively both independently and within a team. A proactive mindset, goal-oriented approach, and a passion for continuous learning are crucial to thrive in this role.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support existing client websites, including direct communication with clients when required.
• Translate complete screendesigns into fully responsive WordPress templates, ensuring pixel-perfect implementation.
• Conduct thorough technical and aesthetic quality assurance checks on websites before deployment.
• Collaborate with team members on medium to large-scale projects, contributing to project planning, development, and testing.
• Stay updated with the latest web development trends, tools, and best practices to continually enhance project quality and efficiency.
