• Successfully drafted and reviewed with Director CE a document summarizing 150+ page research project aiming to benchmark recycling worldwide, define “great” in recycling, and recommend levers of change. I was able to further highlight what is in it for Amazon.
• Based on the recycling research project, I successfully conducted a workshop to highlight the hotspots on recycling, and how Amazon can partner with WRAP to drive application of great recycling.
• Successfully drafted playbook on circularity metrics MCI, initially established by McArthur foundation, to educate Amazon stakeholders (manufacturers, vendors, and sellers) to embed circularity in their supply chains and take informed decisions on the materials more recyclable and with less carbon footprint, in line with Amazon climate pledge and the goal to be zero waste by 2030.

Senior Renewable Energy Commercial Advisor

Royal Danish Embassy Riyadh (May 2019 – July 2021)

 Provided commercial direction, support, and advice to the Danish RE companies who are interested in entering/expanding in Saudi, Omani, Kuwaiti, and Bahraini markets.

 Built bridges between Danish companies and the Gulf Governments, in relevance to the national visions to achieve renewable energy targets and contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals, as well as reporting to Copenhagen quarterly on the financial overview of the Gulf markets and potential opportunities.

Senior project and engagement Officer

British Embassy Riyadh (May 2016 – Apr 2019)

 Managed various research projects, briefed Ambassador and team on strategic plans and aligned on the project delivery plans with wider team in London.

 Worked closely with colleagues in FCDO such as HM Treasury, Analysis and Policy Unit, and outside FCDO such as London Stock Exchange in both Saudi and UK offices, to deliver commercial outcomes.

 Successfully managed the annual fundraising project for the British national day at the Embassy.

 Develop and manage network of focal points from all public and private universities in Egypt.
