Alina Ridenger

Dear Family,

To briefly introduce myself, my name is Alina and I am a self- driven and hard working individual offering excellent communication skills and well-developed time management abilities.

I am patient, caring and have a natural ability to connect with children. I excel at supervising children, creating a fun and loving environment, coordinating all sorts of daily activities and performing any household duties required. Moreover, I am very passionate about children and deeply enjoy spending time with them.

Caring for children is not just a job for me, it’s my passion. I have been a nanny since I was 16 years old, over seven years and counting. As a full-time nanny, I have encountered a variety of children and families which have shaped me into a flexible and quick- thinking person.

While working with my first family, I took care of a 3 year old boy where I managed his daily schedule, playdates, appointments and other activities. My part-time job as a nanny at a young age inspired me to take the next step to move overseas to work as a nanny. During my stay in New Zealand and Australia over the past 5 years I was able to collect experience with children of all ages.

This includes bathing, dressing, feeding, setting up formulas and changing diapers. Moreover, I am well versed in managing meals, naps and other day-to-day activities. My ability to instruct children on personal hygiene and social development would bring positive change to their development.

I am also enthusiastic for running errands and performing light housekeeping tasks.

I would describe myself as an open and honest person who doesn’t believe in misleading other people and tries to be fair in everything I do. I have a creative mind which makes me enjoy arts and crafts activities and gives the children the chance to embrace their artistic side. I like traveling, reading books and learning about new cultures. In addition to being fluent in English, I am a native German and Russian speaker.

I am very sporty and love exercising in the gym, dancing, swimming and hiking. I like exhibitions, museums and art galleries and would be more than happy to discover new places with the children.
