Even though I have not worked in Management Consulting yet, I am eager to learn and develop myself into a valued member of your team. My experience as a Business Analyst at Deutsche Leasing has provided me with the core abilities that I believe a Management Consultant needs in order to create value for your company and your clients:
(1) The leading of projects has proven my ability to understand complex issues and to communicate them to the parties involved. (2) I have proven that I excel at coordinating and driving forward many topics and implementations at the same time. (3) Due to the variety of tasks in my position, I am in regular contact with many different parties, such as my customers, internal departments and external service providers. As a result, I know how to identify stakeholders' different interests and ensure the best possible consideration for them. (4) The development of the IT strategy for Treasury regularly challenges me to align the changing conditions in the company and the market with the requirements of the department. (5) By translating treasury specific functional requirements into technical specifications, I have learned to quickly identify the core of a need and to express it in a way that is understandable for the respective recipient. (6) My interest in new developments in digitalization, innovations and systems that can make everyday work easier has led to me regularly sending insights to my colleagues with tips and tricks for their everyday work.
Additionally, I am also responsible for department internal development through the creation of initiatives and an environment to help the Treasury department to grow. Examples are the process optimizations and automatizations through the help of tools and streamlining of projects; actively taking part in the cultural change and current initiatives that Deutsche Leasing is undergoing for the Treasury department and the whole company to profit from the given opportunities and the digitization of paper-based processes.
During my career at Deutsche Leasing, I have had the chance to get insights into different departments of the company and understand the complex way of how different teams work - both within a team and cross-divisonal. Over the last three years the company faced a massive and complex infrastructural change which did not only affect technical specifications in the background of processes but also had an immense influence on the daily work of each employee. It was part of my responsibility as the Business Analyst of the Treasury department to communicate and accompany the department during this project.
This sparked my desire to enable other companies to prepare for change and support them in this process.
