Dear Recruitment Team,

I am thrilled to apply for the position of UX/ UI intern because I admire the innovations and creativity that comes with the job description. I believe that my skills can help contribute to this already great work. I am highly motivated and progress-focused to join this industry. With a recent record of career transition, I have devised strategic initiatives which I believe will prove valuable to your industry.

After reading through the job description for this role, I understand that I shall be collaborating with tech teams to build efficient operational performance in delivering diverse projects as committed in the portfolio. The job description delights me because it is central to my previous training and experience during booth-camp training. My experience in this role covered sectors involving building a more responsive website design, design research strategy, colour theory in building style tile for projects, visual hierarchy, user persona, design principles, and the creation of user journey.

My background as a former human resource administrator has taught me the importance of empathy and attention to detail, which I have combined with my user experience skills to build great projects that are centred on user needs. I recently concluded a design booth-camp training and I have improved my abilities to maintain consistency and progression in designs.

During training, I have acquired skills in Figma Software, Miro board, and Adobe XD applications. Also, skills in interviews, Notion, user zoom, together with wireframing, prototyping, mock-ups, interaction design, ideations, design thinking methods and the building of projects MVPs. I have also a background knowledge of HTML and CSS applications.

Dring the booth-camp training, I was also part of a team that conducted an e-commerce project that centred on improving the user flow and customer experience in a website. The training covered zoom scheduled meetings with stakeholders, interviews and conducting of competitive market analysis.

I will also consider myself a research enthusiast. I have a great passion for finding out what can stand out differently in providing a solution to the needs of Others. During, the course of personal training, and academic pursuits, I have developed both in qualitative research of surveys, analysis of research results, and optimization of research data to effect product designs.

Currently, I have been improving my designs skills by constant practise and development of personal UI/UX design projects and carrying out volunteering on group projects. Right now, I am ready to take up an internship position to learn and contribute to the creation of interesting projects if given this opportunity.
