Emilia Kammerer

I am enrolled at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management in the BSc in Business Administration, focusing on International Management.

I did my first internship in a Project Development Company with headquarters in Munich and Erfurt as an intern for five months. My tasks were mainly related to supporting the firm's sales and accounting team of the firm. During my time there, I learned how to determine the value of finished construction projects, sell property, and prepare sales appointments with potential clients.

After that, I decided to apply for an internship at the Röhn Group in my hometown Erfurt which offers tax advice and consulting to healthcare businesses, including hospitals and joint practices. I was responsible for creating and maintaining statistics and templates for presentations, reports, and analyses through the use of Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel and the valuation of doctor ́s offices. Moreover, I was assigned to help the accounting team prepare financial reports.

Furthermore, I worked as a working student for KPMG this year for four months in the IT compliance department. I applied for a position at KPMG because I wanted to learn more about how firms integrate new IT systems in their firms and how they measure success and compliance with regulations. In the duration of my job at KPMG, I acquired valuable skills in teamwork and improved my time management skills to meet deadlines.
