Hugo Daouk

German-Lebanese composer exploring unusual durations and post-minimalist structures that fuse repetition and transformation. Current focus on intercultural music between Arabic and Western traditions. Humor and nature are recurring inspirations.

Recipient of merit-based scholarships and bursaries, including the Scholarship for Academic Achievement from Mozarteum University Salzburg (2022/23, 2024/25) and the Ordinary Bursary from the Mozarteum University (2025/26). Works performed by ensembles such as Schallfeld Ensemble and presented at festivals and venues including Limina Festival, Salzburg Cathedral, Haus Marteau and the Christian Doppler Concert Series.
