Kenichi Maeda

Data scientist with strong mathematical background. Having worked in Q-commerce startup for 1 year, I leaned how to deliver solutions in a fast-paced environment.

I have in total 1.5 years of industry experience in data oriented positions. I worked as a data scientist at Q-commerce startup Flink for 1 year. I was mainly responsible for demand forecasting for rider staffing. Many of my work was end-to-end project, and I experienced a lot of pipeline maintenance. Through my work in Flink, I also learned important engineering practices such as unit testing and linting.

I studied Physics and acquired master of science, however I learned programming and machine learning through many online courses. I successfully transitioned into a different field by self education, and this shows that I can learn new knowledge and skills by myself, which is my strongest asset as a data scientist.
