Lachie Philipson

My name is Lachie and I’m a designer passionate about user experience based in Munich. I graduated from Massey University, New Zealand with a Bachelor of Design Honours in 2016. I believe design is a social endeavour.

It isn’t merely about solving problems; it’s about understanding human behaviour and crafting functional and aesthetic experiences. Recently, I worked at the digital agency Springload creating useful digital products and experiences that enable change for good. Prior to that, I worked at the Mobile Innovation Lab at the New Zealand Police, and tutored product design and creative coding at Massey University and Victoria University in Wellington, New Zealand.

As an experience design lead at Springload, I led design on complex projects to ensure seamless user experiences across multiple digital platforms. I fostered teamwork, mentored junior designers, and collaborated within cross-functional teams to find innovative solutions for clients.

I have a Bachelor of Design with Honours in Visual Communication Design from Massey University.
