I am passionate about machine learning and software development.
I gained practical experience during my student activities at Red-ant and Appsafactory. At Red-ant, I acquired knowledge in C# development; at Appsfactory, I could apply my theoretical understanding of iOS development. These experiences have been instrumental in deepening my knowledge of software development.
As part of my Master's thesis at the Chair of Artificial Intelligence in Medicine at the Technical University of Munich, I could apply my theoretical knowledge in the field of artificial intelligence in practice. In courses such as "Computational Medical Procedures" and "Artificial Intelligence in Medicine", I acquired a solid foundation for applying AI principles in healthcare. In my thesis, I conducted extensive research with complex medical datasets to train a Diffusion Autoencoder for vertebral compression fracture classification.
During my semester abroad at the University of British Columbia, I improved my machine learning skills through the "INTRO ML AND DM" course and my scientific communication skills in the "Communicating Science" course. Furthermore, I was able to prove my adaptability in an international environment.
My completed Bachelor's degree in Computer Science has given me a solid foundation in software development. The courses "Introduction to Software Engineering", "Practical Course iOS", and "Concepts of C++ Programming" not only provided me with in-depth knowledge but also showed me how to work agilely in dynamic teams, for example, according to the Scrum methodology. During my interdisciplinary project collaboration with the Department of Sports Science and Sports Informatics, I acquired additional skills in communicating complex computer science concepts to non-experts and documenting the project for further development.
