As a research associate at the Institute for Metal Forming TU-BergAkademie, I have acquired a solid foundation in metallurgy through my bachelor's degree, and further specialized in metal forming with a master's degree. During my Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, I focused on metal forming processes, utilizing the Finite Element (FE) method and FE coupled optimization. These experiences have equipped me with a deep understanding of the materials science and mechanics of materials in the context of metal forming.
Working at the Institute of Metals Forming(IMF) since 2020, I have honed my skills in developing FE models to optimize metal forming processes and products. I have utilized various industry- standardsimulators such as ABAQUS, Simufact, and AFDEX, leveraging their advanced featuresto drive successful outcomes in my recent projects. In addition to my research activities, I have also had the opportunity to share my knowledge through teaching.
I regularly lecture on the fundamentals of metal forming during the summer semesters and conduct courses on numerical simulation in metal forming during the wintersemesters, all delivered in English. This experience has enhanced my ability to communicate complex concepts effectively and engage with students.
