My name is Shrinidhi Gatti, and I am currently studying Master’s in Data Science at the Technical University of Braunschweig.
I have interned at two different firms. At my first internship, I worked for 2 months as a web developer at Slekin Technical Solutions. In my second internship, I worked at The Spark’s Foundation as a data analyst intern for a month.
As a data analyst, I was assigned a project based extensively on Python, which further strengthened my knowledge. I did a prediction on Jupyter Notebook using Python, and it was based on supervised machine learning. The objective was to predict the average percentage secured by a student based on the number of hours he studied and evaluated model's performance to calculate predictive results.
During my final year project, I developed a food delivery website called Trofi, from which users could order food, upload recipes, and view the ingredients. I developed this website using HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, Visual Studio, XAMP, Adobe XD, and PHP programming. Additionally, I have also done a presentation on the sales forecasting of Walmart in which patterns and trends like purchase behaviour, shopping during holidays, and weather conditions were recognized to improve sales.
In my Bachelor’s and my current Master’s degree, I have acquired basic knowledge in machine learning and data warehousing. The theoretical knowledge that I have gained so far has piqued my interest in applying my skills to real-life data-driven problems, and I believe that working at your company will provide me with the opportunity to further develop my skills and gain hands-on experience in the field.
Beyond academics, I have also organized various events during my university days. These experiences have honed my interpersonal skills and helped me become a well-rounded individual. I am also fluent in English (C1 level) and have a basic proficiency in German (A2 level).
I am certain that my educational background, technical skills, and the desire to learn and grow in this position make me the ideal candidate for this position.
