Nina Lautenschläger

Highly motivated postdoctoral researcher with a strong interest in biotechnology and advancements in the food industry. Proficient in the design, optimization and evaluation of research experiments and familiar with molecular and microbiological techniques. Very experienced in the work with different bacterial strains. Well-organized, creative and fast-learning individual dedicated to being a supportive and contributing team member. In the past seven years I have gained experience in most molecular biology and microbiology laboratory techniques working in international S1 and S2 laboratories using different work horses, such as Saccharomyces cerevisiae, Bacillus subtilis and Streptococcus pyogenes.

I pursued a Ph.D. in Microbiology at the Max Planck Unit for the Science of Pathogens in Berlin and obtained my doctoral degree in August 2022 from the Humboldt University.
