• Running daily reports (number of arrivals, departures), identifying any special requests, and check reports for accuracy;
• Performing scheduling duties, including client appointments, conference calls, company meetings, and travel arrangements;
• Confirming group reservations and arranging personalized services for VIP customers and event attendees, like wedding guests;
• Performing all check-in and check-out tasks;
• Managing online and phone reservations;
• Registering guests collecting necessary information (like contact details and exact dates of their stay);
• Communicating with the general manager/front office manager regarding any real or potential emergency situations;

• Responsible for closing hotel books at night while assisting guests efficiently, courteously, and professionally in all front office-related functions;
• Making reservations over the phone for walking guests to the hotel and ensuring all aspects of the room reservation procedure are followed;
• Ensuring to complete all required administrative paperwork necessary and completing the night audit.
• Going through arrival to ensure cashier comments and routine for transfers and deposits to master accounts are set properly;
• Making nightly cash deposits, logging bank statements, monitoring and submitting daily reports, organizing and verifying receipts, and identifying, researching, and correcting discrepancies;
• Maintaining a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor while providing personalized service to hotel guests;
• Facilitating guest departures on a daily basis by following established procedures in order to close guest accounts and determine future room availability;
• Regularly calculating and/or posting monies, receipts, guest accounts, and other forms of credit using proper cash handling methods and established procedures in order to present the guest with accurate hotel charges upon check-out;
• Recording, storing, accessing, and analyzing computerized financial information;
• Helping guests register for rooms and collecting and recording their payments.
